Cave outline β Shapefile
Cave area & holes
Outline: drag around the cave β traces the actual ink inside your circle, so a rough circle is fine. Hole: click inside a void to auto-detect it, or drag to draw one. Erase: click a hole to remove it, or drag to patch an area solid. Connect: drag from one point to another to bridge a gap by hand β added as wall ink right along the line you draw.

Shapefile contents
Solid: just the passage outline and real interior rock islands. + Symbols: also traces station circles, breakdown, and other ink that sits inside a passage without touching its wall, as separate shapes (marked "detail" in the shapefile's attribute table, alongside "passage").
Edit shapefile points
Direct, CAD-style editing of one map's own traced outline. Drag a point to move it, or drag the small dot at a segment's midpoint to add a new point there. Tap a point to select it for deletion (tap again to deselect, or drag a box over empty space to select a whole group at once), then βDelete point(s)β. π Reconnect: drag from one point to a different point on the same line to redraw the path between them, replacing whatever ran between them before β handy right after deleting a messy group. β Break line is the reverse: tap the connecting line between two adjacent points to remove just that one connection, leaving both points exactly where they are. The two loose ends it leaves stay there to drag, delete, or bridge with π Reconnect whenever you're ready β left alone, a gap just exports as a straight line between its two ends, same as if you'd never broken it. Only one open gap per line at a time; reconnect it before breaking another spot on that same line. Works on the selected map only β select it first, over on the map list. Once this map has points to edit, its raw Hole/Outline/Connect marks stop showing here too β you're looking at (and editing) the traced shape itself now, not a second copy sitting next to it. Drawing with Outline, Hole, Erase, or Connect on a map you've already edited here re-traces it from scratch the next time you reopen Edit points, so your new hole (or other change) is actually there to edit β but that discards any points you'd hand-edited on this map; Undo brings them right back if that's not what you wanted. The sliders above don't trigger this refresh β adjust one of those and βReset to tracedβ is still how you pick up the change. Doesn't apply to a map that's part of a multi-map stitch group.
Preview β» refresh
Traces only the main overhead passage view of visible maps into WGS84 polygons. A north arrow, profile view, legend, or other page content stays out of the shapefile as long as it sits outside whatever you've cropped (Crop edges, in the map's properties) or circled with Outline β with neither set, the tracer has no way to tell those apart from passages. The preview above updates automatically as you adjust the settings.
